Hey there ladies,
Do you have dry brittle hair? Two different textures? Is the hair on the crown of your head weaker and more prone to damage?
We can’t reverse the damage but we can begin to repair and protect the rest of the hair.
I have started to really nurture my hair a little more. Before I got married my mom was the one on me about making sure I take care of my hair a little better and on a consistent basis.
Today I want to share with you a mask that is sure to get your natural hair on track. My mother shared this with me.

Let’s begin with a protein mask. These are ingredients you can find at home or in your pantry.

You’ll need :
1 egg ( protein)
Mayonnaise (Protein)
Olive oil  (moisturizes, promotes hair growth, aids in repairing hair)( use Plenty of this)
Put on a shower cap and leave in for as long as you wish. At least 30 min.

That simple.
Now, if you are protein sensitive than use either the egg or the mayo as they both are sources of protein.
It’s important to know whether you are protein sensitive because even though our hair needs protein, Protein can have a drying effect on certain peoples hair especially if your  hair care products contain protein and you don’t even know it. (Check your products for any form of protein.)
Remember : Too much protein is bad and not enough is also bad.
Apply this mask to damp hair for easier application. This mask should only be done once every 6-8 weeks depending on your sensitivity.  I tried this mask last week and I love it!
Next time I’ll have homemade conditioners good for every week.

Is this good for all ethnic hair? Can a person w/ a relaxer do it as well?
