1 . Have somewhat of a goal for the day. Notice I didn't say plan.
Your goal for the day might be to do the laundry, to fold
yesterday’s laundry, write a blog post, type up that essay, or begin that
business plan. Whatever that goal is make it simple and make it plain.
The goal is to get those tasks done before your head gently lays on that
pillow.
2. Keep your goals list attainable. Truth is if you have a full time job, are a full time student, and or are a mother, then your list might
not be as long. That’s okay. If your list contains 3-5 tasks, great. If your
list is made up of 2 tasks that’s also great. Do what you can, whenever you can
and be the absolute best at it.
3. Do one thing at a time. Pretty self-explanatory, right? Focus
on completing that one task to the very best of your ability, then move on to
the next. There’s a great satisfaction that comes from doing the best you can
do on one specific task. I personally feel more motivated, and empowered.
4. Accountability is very important. Let other responsible people
know about the deadlines you have. Share it on Facebook with your friends, or
hang up your to-do list where everyone can see.
5. Do what you say you’re going to do. If you don’t think you can
handle anymore tasks, DO NOT agree to do anything else. You don’t need the
stress nor the disappointment. Be known for taking action and not just talking.
Soo, in a nutshell
-Set daily goals
-Make sure goals are realistic
-Do one thing at a time
-Let people know about your deadlines
-Take action
