You all know that I love all things modest. I
thought that today instead of sharing style inspiration from my fellow bloggers
I would share some of the styles women from a different decade were indulging
in. Have you ever asked yourself the question, If I could live during a
different decade which decade would it be? For years I would answer the 80’s
because of my love for big hair and bright colors. But as I got older the my
80’s obsession became a thing of the past and the 40’s reigned supreme. The
women cared not to show much skin. They covered up nicely and get this, they
were stunning. A woman could look elegant, effortless, classy and stunningly
attractive while being modest.
Want to know one thing I noticed while
researching styles from the 40’s?
The women in the photographs I found oozed with
confidence and sophistication.
